So I sudo-opted out of doing same-wall wall jumps but if you do a double jump from a wall kick you gain back air control and can wall jump up the same wall!

That sounds stupid, and it probably just is stupid, but I prefer the 'expulsion' wall jump like in the NSMB games =]
